Our super cute new home has officially launched, and let’s just say… dopamine overload has entered the chat. OTT vibes are in full force, and honestly? I’m obsessed.
When two girlies get together with a shared love for all things extra (and gradients, ofc) this is what happens: maximalist dreams have been realised. It can feel hard impossible to get the ideas out of your head and into something real, but Katie (founder of Pearler; our digital fairy) understood the assignment and ran with it in the best possible way.
And now the website speaks for itself.
It’s a woman’s world. Just for us.

The Anatomy of a Conversion-Focused Page
Now while we’re on the topic of Shopify… She’s not just a pretty face 💅 we wanted to start our new era being able to bring new energy and more OTT goodness your way (in the form of…. physical products…..😍)
If you’re a founder or just looking to sharpen up your e-commerce game, Katie dropped all the insider-secrets when it comes to building a conversion-focused landing page:
💡Inspo Everywhere Take a peek at brands that are doing it right. They’ve invested in optimising their product pages to industry standards—why not use them as inspiration? Katie suggests using tools like Koala Inspector to see what apps brands are using.
💡 Keep It Simple Don’t stray too far from a familiar UX layout. Keep things clear, easy to use, and focused on what your customer needs. Tower28’s "Get Set Pressed Powder" page is a great example of this: clean, simple, & optimised for conversion.
💡 Showcase Best-Sellers First Your top-performing products deserve the spotlight. And that’s where you should be driving most of your traffic. The layout? Straightforward—hero images, clever descriptions (don’t sound like a robot!), and a video that mimics the vibe of social media. Bonus tip: bring social media UX into your sales page with apps like Tolstoy.
💡 DIY Realness Over Polish Gone are the days where we NEED fancy campaign shots to sell products. Today, it’s all about relatability. Lean into user-generated content (UGC) and real-life iPhone snaps. Trust me, it works.
💡 Answer Questions Before They’re Asked Think back to every DM or piece of feedback you’ve received from customers. Now make sure all those answers are baked into your product page. It’s about making it easy for them before they even have to ask.
💡 Invest in Reviews Reviews are crucial. Katie says it’s worth upgrading from the basic Shopify reviews plugin to something more robust (there are some good competitors out there and it’s worth doing some good research). Encourage customers to leave photos with their reviews—it adds social proof and boosts trust.
💡 Shoppable UGC Real-life pics of your products in action? Yes, please. Add shoppable galleries to your product pages. Authenticity wins every time.
